KMB - "Daimler A" Traditional Radiator

The Kowloon Motor Bus Company Ltd (KMB) launched its first double decker "Daimler A" in 1949 due to the increasing passenger demand. The main routes for "Daimler A" buses were Nathan Road, Lai Chi Kok Road and Waterloo Road. These roads were dotted with traditional provision shops, pharmacies and tailors' shops. The "Daimer A" buses had been in the services for thirty years and they retired in the early 80's (Information Source: Bus Fan World under KMB Website).

Yes Jcee, they are available in Hong Kong. You may purchase from "80M Bus Model Shop" which I visited one of their branches on Day 3 of my trip. Now the price is HK$348. The shop website is 80mbusmodel.com

Yes bro, this is the 1st item I post for my HK toy hunts. I don't think it's suitable to include those Japanese soldiers on the display model due to the year they were in. Japanese attacked HK before 1950. And, the scale of those army figures is not right too (they are larger than the figures on the display model).

Yes Leon, I saw this detailed model set in Toydaily forum before going to HK. I like it very much. So, did not hesitate to buy when I saw it during my HK trip.
