The Ramen Girl

A young American woman (played by Brittany Murphy) suddenly finds herself so lonely and helpless after being abandoned by her boyfriend in Tokyu. While Murphy is seeking to console herself, she found her true career path in life is to become a ramen chef. My attention was riveted on the training and communication parts between the Japanese master chef and the female lead in the story. The plot is simple and I found the ending is a little sad because Murphy's master retired after she lost in a ramen cooking contest. Anyway, my overall rating for this movie is 2.5/5.

It sounds like a rubbish movie if you rated it as 2.5/5. :p Anyway, I don't know such movie exist. Maybe it's some kind of low budget movie. :P

It's not totally crap at all. Some parts of the story are quite touching too. I feel it's just lacking of something there..I don't know what is that..Still can watch anyway..Haha!!
