Hot Toys 1/6 "Iron Man Mark II" Sideshow Exclusive Pt.2

Besides color scheme of the suit, the main difference between Mark III and Mark II is the sculpted rivets on the surface of the helmet, chest, arms and legs.

A closer view of the fully deployed air flaps at the back of the suit.

Open the panels at the back of the lower thigh to reveal the color wires and detailed pistons.

The silver suit looks metallic and matches very well with light up feature.

Although the articulation is not good, the figure still looks cool with basic poses.

My favorite weapons here are the missile launchers on the forearms. To reveal it, just pull apart the side panels and lift up the top panel on the forearm.

Due to the quality of the batteries, the light is only bright for less than 3 minutes. Then, it goes dimmer especially for the eyes and chest.

Overall, the figure has tight joints and it can stand without using a display base. You may click here to see its box art and design and read my next review here.

Very realistic chrome and metallic feel, just that the overall same colour scheme may appear dull to some. It’s cool to HT even play attention to details such as color wires and detailed pistons at hidden spots. The light up chest and eyes sure are good gimmicks and you better stock up some good batteries ^_^

Bro, the silver armor is not in chrome finish but using glossy finish. Overall, the metallic effect is still good. I am not going to buy extra batteries as I have taken out all the batteries from the figure after photo shoot :)

Wow! This figure brings back good memories and you finally got it after it was released. I hope you din have to pay exorbitant price for it.

Btw, From experience, the batteries corrode even when in storage. Not sure if it's the lower grade that they used. I have never purchase new batteries for any of the figures and the batteries stays either in their trays or somewhere else. However, in general, they corrode over time.

Jon, I also never buy batteries for all light up figures. I paid almost SGD400 includes shipping and it's a second hand piece. No choice, I wanted to complete my original plastic Mark 1 to Mark 7. Some parts also have scratches and cannot regret already. Batteries are in good condition. No leak..Anyway, remove all batteries.

Wow! but this is an exclusive item, with the bust and forearm missile, which probably explains the price you have to pay for it.

Jon, agree with you but I still think the item was a little bit overpriced even with a mini bust..Anyway, I have already paid so just display it with the rest of my iron man collection :)
