Sideshow - Sandtrooper Pt.2 (Squad Leader: Tatooine)

The weathering is great and mud stains on the chest armour are well painted this time round.

The Squad Leader Sandtrooper has an orange shoulder pauldron for ranking differentiation.

Besides stormtrooper blaster, the T-21 Light Repeating Blaster Rifle is another heavy weapon the sandtrooper carries.

Besides shoulder pouches, there are two magazine pouches attached to the waist belt.

The backpack is different as compared to the one given to Sergeant Sandtrooper.

The gripped hands are fairy tight enough to hold any blasters come with the figure.

The work of the weathering and mud stains on the armoured arms and legs are equally good.

Still, the figure has very loose joints and it's hard for him to stand steadily.

Sideshow has improved its paint work on these armoured figures and I have no issue with the overall quality. I recommend to pick it up if you are a Star Wars fan. Furthermore, the price is pretty reasonable. For part 1 review, please click here.

Great weathering and battle-damaged to the figure though the backpack good pretty new. No need to worry about the figure yellowing over time. Ha! Ha!

Yup bro, the yellowish surface is supposed to be there as what is shown in the movie :)

Yes Saruman, the work on this Squad leader sandtrooper is much better than the previous sergeant sandtrooper. You may consider to get it if you can ;p

Asrul, don't mention that. I only collect figures that I want. Others have more collection than mine :)

This figure looks cool and all the battle damaged makes it realistic! Great additions!

Astrogalaxy, this armoured figure is still considered OK but it's not a battle damaged version. Although the mud stains on the chest armour look unrealistic, it's still better than the first version sandtroopers :)
