Hasbro "Thena on Eternals" Marvel Legends Series

I collect the figure is due to its head sculpt which has good likeness to Angelina Jolie on Eternals (film).

The overall colour application on the face looks natural and realistic. For the hair sculpt, it has not much detail.

As Thena's skirt is made of soft plastic, it does not affect her lower body movement.

I like the design of Thena's costume even though the colour scheme is simple.

Not much action poses I can do for Thena as she has limited articulation.

Although I did not take all the weapons out of the box for photo shoot but I believe they fit in the hands of the figure.

The figure has tight joints. It can balance and stand on its own. Overall, I am pleased to have this figure on shelf.

Hasbro "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" Marvel Legends Series

This is my first time to collect Marvel Legends action figures. The main reason I collect these figures is majority of the characters in the movie are Asian. Some actors are very well-known in Asia. The movie will be released by local theatres in early September this year. I look forward to watch the movie.

Medicom 1/6 "Peter Parker" on Spider-Man 3 Pt.2

Medicom released Peter Parker figures in October 2007. The head sculpt resembles only 60% of the likeness to Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the Spider-Man trilogy. I guess the reason is due to the poor painting skills. We all know Medicom is very good in making animated characters.

A closer look at the head sculpt - skin colour between the face and neck is different. The hair sculpt is only painted in solid black with no colour toning.

Peter's outfit is well tailored and it does not restrict the overall articulation. As usual, the figure has tight joints and no stand is needed here.

As there is a lack of accessories come with the figure, you cannot display Peter with his action poses. However, you may see its packaging here if you want.

Medicom 1/6 "Spider-Man" on Spider-Man 3 Pt.2

This was released by Medicom in 2007. You cannot compare the figure with the one released by Hot Toys in 2011. They were made in different technology and engineering.

The shape of the head is weird as it doesn't show an outline of a human head wearing a mask. The head and boots were made separately from the suit. Luckily, the colour of the head and boots matches very well with the suit.

It is obvious that the material used for the suit is not movie accurate. Surprisingly, the suit doesn't deteriorate at all. The figure looks brand new after so many years.

What I don't like about the product are lack of poseable hands and translucent web pieces. However, the figure is able to hold lots of basic poses but not to the extreme. I just don't want to break it. Please click here if you are keen to see its packaging.
