Inflames Toys 1/6 "Monkey/Joker 至尊寶" in A Chinese Odyssey Part 2: Cinderella Pt.2

Great resemblance of Stephen Chow as Monkey King in the Hong Kong film "A Chinese Odyssey Part 2: Cinderella". The overall paint application of the figure is good.

Monkey King definitely looks cool with his golden circlet from Goddess of Mercy.

The body armor is made of plastic but its texture, paint work and sculpting are what make it looks so real.

The outfit is beautifully replicated and screen accurate. It does not restrict the overall articulation of the figure.

However, the unusual part of the outfit is the rear of the shoes. I don't understand the reason behind it.

Each hair possesses magic power which can be transformed into a clone of the Monkey King himself.

Monkey King's golden-banded staff is made of metal. As the staff is heavy, it restricts certain nice poses we can get from the figure.

Tried my best to pose Monkey King wielding his golden-banded staff and the outcome was great.

More dynamic poses can be achieved if Inflames can give us an extra plastic staff.

Take a closer look at the head sculpt with angry expression. It's nice, right?

As the figure has fairly tight joints, it can stand without using a display base.

Chinese characters were engraved on the Pandora's Box. Unfortunately, the box cannot be opened. You may click here to see the packaging.

I find the face expressions of this Monkey King very natural and I love that hair plucking hand. That’s so Monkey King!
