Mezco "2008 SDCC Exclusive Hellboy" on HBII: The Golden Army Series

This is the "SDCC Exclusive Hellboy" action figure released by Mezco in 2008.

The shirtless Hellboy has short horns on its head and it is the closed mouth version.

The figure is 7.5 inch tall and it comes with weapon and accessories.

I like Hellboy's tail as it has three points of articulation. I had lots of fun when posing the figure.

Red's muscular body was beautifully replicated with details sculpted on the surface.

Red's Hand of Doom is articulated and it looks awesome with great paint job and fine details.

What surprised me is the Good Samaritan pistol as it can be opened to reveal the inner chamber.

Hellboy's pistol looks very nice with right amount of dry brushing to imitate the wear and tear of the metal.

The pistol also fits perfectly in the holster and left hand of Hellboy.

For the holster, it has a flap that you can close to hold the pistol in place.

As the figure has tight joints, it can balance well and stand on its own.

The only thing I don't like about the figure is the head sculpt which does not resembles Ron Perlman at all.

The overall articulation is good as the figure can hold a lot of great action poses.

It seems like the size of the canned beer is a little bit small...

Those letters B.P.R.D. printed on the fabric towel stands for Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense.

Besides towel, the figure comes with one "Hand of Doom" key chain and six pack of beer. You may see its packaging here.
