Pop Toys 1/6 "Shadow Ninja" in Batman Begins Pt.2

The balaclava is tailored and it fits the head very well. There is a lower face plate attached to the balaclava.

The armour is made of plastic. I was wondering what kind of material the factory has used. Because the surface of one armour plate that covers the lower abdomen is sticky.

I like the gauntlets as the details on the surface are very fine sculpted with great weathering.

I was impressed as the combat boots are made from leather-like material. These boots have laces which allow you to pull tight and fasten.

Unfortunately, the blade of the sword is not made of metal. Both sword and sheath are made of plastic.

I personally love this head sculpt as Pop Toys has captured the likeness of Liam Neeson.

The skin colour of the face is realistic and the wrinkles really look natural.

The paint application on the moustache, beard and hair is good with reasonable amount of gray and white.

Due to the design of the pants, the articulation of the lower body is limited. For the arms, they can hold basic poses.

A few more shots taken from the figure with its fighting poses.

Surprisingly, the figure has tight joints and it can stand on its own.

In my opinion, this is the best figure to resemble Liam Neeson as Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins. You may see its packaging here.

Hot Toys 1/6 "First Order Stormtrooper" in TFA Pt.2

Even the lower jaw looks like duck bill, I still love the new look of the helmet.

The armour is well replicated and movie accurate. It has lots of sculpted details.

Due to the design of the armour and material used for the undersuit, they restrict the overall articulation.

Both blaster pistol and blaster rifle have magnetic parts. They can be easily attached to the right thigh which also has magnets embedded inside.

You can only bend its arms to a maximum angle of 90 degree. It was a horrible experience when I tried to pose the figure holding its blaster rifle. I was afraid that I might break the elbow joints.

The legs have limited range of movement and knee joints only allow for an angle of 45 degree bend.

The only part that has good articulation is head. It rotates and moves up and down.

Despite the poor articulation, the First Order Stormtrooper is still a must have figure to be displayed with Kylo Ren. You may see its packaging here.
