Hot Toys RPG-7 & Remington Shotgun

Bought Hot Toys RPG-7 rocket launcher and Remington shotgun for future kit bash.
Perhaps I can let my Hot Toys Stallone in Rambo III to have the RPG. Anyway, these
are the accessories stripped from Hot Toys Chris Redfield.

Whiteout

"Lone U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is stationed at Antarctica's South Pole research base for two years. Just as she is about to turn in her resignation, a body turns up on the ice and Carrie is thrust into Antarctica's very first murder investigation. As the death toll begins to mount and the mystery deepens, Carrie must solve the crime before the region is plunged into six months of isolated darkness with an unknown killer (Plot extracted from Movies Yahoo Singapore)."

"Whiteout" is a suspense thriller film. There were a lot of twists and turn that kept me guessing from beginning till the end. Although some parts were not clearly explained, the plot is still OK to me. Besides, I think the female lead was not convincing enough to be a U.S. Marshal as she was "weak" in the movie. Overall, I enjoyed it and my movie rating is 2.5/5.

DVD - WWE "Kane" (3 Disc Set)

Besides Hulk Hogan, Kane is my favourite superstar in WWE universe. I remember Kane's first attack against The Undertaker in 1997, he wore a red and black colour mask. He looked very fierce with his mask and wrestling attire. His body was much more bigger that time and this could be the reason that "Kane" was also known as the "Big Red Monster" (currently known as "Big Red Machine"). His finishing move "Tombstone" and signature move "Chokeslam" are my favourite. In recent years, I guess Kane had changed his finishing move to "Chokeslam" as I seldom see he "Tombstones" his opponents. Anyway, I have finished watching the DVD and it brought my memory back to the 90's when I started watching the WWF. At the recent 2009 WWE draft, Kane was drafted back to Smackdown.

DVD - "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and "Taken"

Although the plot of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is not that good, I still bought the DVD for my collection as I love the actions and special effects in that movie. "Taken" DVD is also in my collection list as the plot is straight forward and convincing, and I enjoyed the fighting parts of the movie too. You may read my review on "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" here and "Taken" here.

"Bumblebee" came to Singapore??

When I was going to Shaun's house last Friday, I saw "Bumblebee" in Compass Point.
I guess Chevrolet was having a roadshow that week :)

My visit to Shaun's house on 18 Sep 2009

I was excited when I first stepped in Shaun's toy room with great variety of collectables. Besides 12inch figures, he has a lot of Transformers too..

Shaun is a fan of some military figures, wrestling and Dragonball action figures. His Hot Toys Batmobil caught my attention and taking pictures of this huge vehicle is a must for my visit :p

By looking at this section of the display shelves, I am sure Shaun is a die hard fan of DC and Marvel heroes. I like this section as the varieties of action figures create "colourful images" to the glass cabinets. It's really nice!!

All the 12inch figures above especially the Star Wars series are my all time favourite as I am a Star Wars fan too :)

See the colour combination of the curtain, is it similar to the Superman's cape??

Wow! Shaun has a lot of western comic books and the Hasbro "Millennium Falcon" is very huge too.

In summary, this is a very good experience for me to visit a truly toy collector's house. Thanks to Shaun for the invitation and sharing. Really enjoyed the chit-chat session during my visit there :P

MJ Red Tee or BL Black Tee??

Michael Jackson Red T-Shirt...

Bruce Lee Black T-Shirt...

(Thanks to "Ah Wai" from Dragon Model Ltd)

Bought two 1/6 scale T-Shirts for my collection. As all my Hot Toys True Type bodies are stored in carton boxes, I just take a Dragon body as the T-Shirt model. By looking at the pictures above, I like both T-Shirts. For you guys, which one do you prefer??

WWE - Goldust (Ruthless Aggression 41)

This is the latest "Goldust" figure that I have now. Goldust is still looking good with his bizarre image in WWE today. He is currently the superstar in Tuesday night ECW and hope he has a chance to win ECW Championship one day. You may read my previous post on Goldust in Shattered Dreams Exclusive here.

Gamer

"GAMER is an action thriller set in a near future when gaming and entertainment have evolved into a terrifying new hybrid. Humans control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online games: people play people...for keeps. "Slayers," a first-person shooter game allows millions to act out their most savage fantasies online in front of a global audience, using real prisoners as avatars with whom they fight to the death. Kable (300's Gerard Butler) is the superstar and cult hero of "Slayers" who is controlled by Simon to defy all odds to victory each week...(Synopsis Source: Golden Village website)."

Nothing much to comment about as the story line is pretty straight forward. Castle, the bad guy created highly sophisticated technology to enable rich people to control prisoners by online gaming. Then, one of the prisoners "Kable" fights back to rescue his family and kill Castle in the end. I guess I am not get used to the way the camera shooting at some parts of the battle scenes with gunshots and explosions as it made me giddy, and even headache. If you like to play PC games like those Special Operation Forces against terrorists , you may like it. It's also not a film for kids as there are a lot of nudity scenes and my movie rating for this one is 2/5.

WWE - Umaga (Ruthless Aggression 36)

In WWE, Umaga is also known as "The Samoan Bulldozer". I personally think Umaga is the toughest wrestler in Friday night Smackdown. I like his finishing move "Samoan Spike (Thumb Thrust to Throat)" and signature move "Running Hip Attack" as these moves are powerful. But sad to hear that Umaga was released from his WWE contract in early June this year after failing a Drug Wellness Policy for the second time and refusing to seek rehabilitation (Information Source: Wikipedia).

Hasbro - Arcee (ROTF)

In Motorcycle Mode...

In Robot Mode...

Arcee's sidecar becomes snap-on blaster in motorcycle mode and figure stand in robot mode. I think Arcee looks better if her body colour painted in darker red. Besides head design and extendable blade, the "Autobot Logo" behind the motorcycle seat looks pretty nice too. The only thing I don't like about the figure is the "S" shaped body part connected between the chest and wheels. Other than this, the figure is awesome. You may view the transformation via Peaugh's video here. For Chromia, you may read my previous post here.
