Hot Toys 1/6 "Rey & BB-8" in TFA Pt.2

To be frank, the head sculpt resembles only a little bit of Daisy Ridley as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Hot Toys did not capture the size and shape of Daisy's eyes this time.

As Rey's boots are made of plastic, they restrict the ankle movement and cause limitation even for basic poses.

For overall paint work, Hot Toys always delivers that with realistic skin color and texture.

The hair sculpt can be better if it has more details with a bit of brown tone rather than totally black.

I like the design of the plastic staff and it has slight weathering on the surface.

I believe the bag is functional as it has real buckle and belt stitched to the outside.

As usual, the figure has tight joints. It can stand on its own without using a support base.

Looking at the pictures, they show that Rey's overall articulation is good especially her upper section.

The right above is Rey's blaster pistol which was formerly owned by Han Solo (portrayed by Harrison Ford).

This is the first time I add laser beam effect to the light saber and the pictures turn out pretty good.

Rey's leather-like backpack is unique and a very nice add-on accessory to her outfit.

BB-8 is a droid which consists of two sections: a domed head and a ball as body. I do not have a chance to see the light up lens of the droid as the batteries leaked.

The extended device and the articulated tool are the parts that you can attach to BB-8 body after removing the original panels.

Overall, I am very happy to own the figure set as it comes with tons of accessories to swap and play. The only disappointment here is the likeness of the head sculpt. You may see its packaging here.

Unique Toys "Challenger" UTR-02

It's my first figure from Unique Toys. The figure resembles Optimus Prime in the Transformers: Age of Extinction. It's also an unofficial product and that's why Unique Toys called it "Challenger".

Hasbro Bladebuilders "Star Wars: Electronic Riot Baton"

This is the second bladebuilders set I got and my first one is Kylo Ren's electronic lightsaber.

Press the button on the handgrip to activate lights and sounds.

Hold the button on the handgrip and swing your arm to extend its prongs. You can make contact with surface of the baton for flickering lights and sound effects.

You may attach the attack claw to the baton if you want. Overall, it's fun and my son loves it :)
