"This action film, directed by Pierre Morel (Taken), concerns young CIA agent James Reece (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who has a cushy day job, but dreams of an exciting life in the field. When the Agency offers him his first big-time assignment, James must team with crazed lone-wolf Charlie Wax (played by John Travolta) to stop a terrorist bombing plot. Although James is initially in way over his head, he soon realizes that he needs to trust Charlie if he wants to live his dream and save his own life, because the bad guys not only want to cause damage to the city, but want James killed (Movie Details: Fandango)."
"From Paris With Love" is a fast paced with action packed movie. In the film, John Travolta looked like a bad ass (just like the one in Taking of Pelham 123) rather than a government agent. The action and car chase scenes were great that kept my attention throughout the whole show. Love seeing Travolta kicking those bad guys out there. I don't think the gunshot scenes were bloody violence as they are very common today. There were some jokes in the story line as both characters have different way of handling things. Travolta didn't follow rules and regulation but Rhys Meyers is a discipline agent. It was funny when Rhys Meyers was asked to hold a vase during the investigation. Although the plot is simple, it's still entertaining and enjoyable. My overall movie rating is 3/5.
