Takara Tomy A.R.T.S - SEGA History Collection Pt.2

SEGA Mega Drive 2 16-bit is the improved version of SEGA Mega Drive. Its body size is smaller than the first version. The design and look of the controllers are also different. SEGA released Mega Drive 2 consoles on 23 Apr 1993.




Although I have never played video games using either SEGA Mega-CD or SEGA Mega-CD 2, I believe the second model (above) offers a faster processor than the first model. The release date was 23 Apr 1993. You could also attach a Mega Drive or Mega Drive 2 to a SEGA Mega-CD 2 like so.



Overall, these 1/6 scale video game consoles and accessories are very well replicated. The fun part is you could even insert the cartridges into the workable slots of the consoles. The only thing I dislike is the short cables that come with the controllers.

Takara Tomy A.R.T.S - SEGA History Collection

I believe those born in the 70's know this video game console. The above is the 1/6 scale SEGA Mega Drive Console 16-bit by Takara Tomy. According to the introduction sheet, the products were launched on 29 Oct 1988. I have this classic model and it is currently kept in my store room.



For SEGA Mega Drive Tower Mini: Mega-CD 32X Genesis, the products were launched on 12 Dec 1991. The benefits in using CD technology are greater storage of data and graphic enhancements. You may read my part 2 review here.

Super MC Toys + Very Cool Toys

This is a sexy "Office Lady Set" from Super MC Toys (Item No: F-077). I am very impressed with its overall quality. The products they made are so realistic.

I also got the 1/6 Supermodel Head Sculpt with 3.0 Female Body Set from Very Cool Toys (Item No: FX07-B). I have to compliment Very Cool that its female head sculpts and body sets are getting better and better. In fact, I have bought a lot of Very Cool body sets for my collection.

ZC World 1/6 "Traffic Police: HK Street Scene Series"

These blue plastic drums are made of hard plastic and you can use them as your pen holders. In actual world, they are commonly used in Hong Kong street markets.

I got a pair of police traffic cones with blue blinkers. The blue blinkers are battery operated and its light blinks but not very bright.

The traffic bollard lights up using three button cells. I was disappointed when applying the stickers to the bollard as they are not properly produced. I have to cut them after all.

Of coarse, the yellow blinkers are used for road construction site.
