Sideshow 1/6 "Darth Vader Deluxe" in ROTJ Pt.2

This was the second release of Darth Vader figure by Sideshow. The first release is here.

The difference between the previous release and current release are colour buttons on the chest device and presentation of the outfit and cape.

Although the figure is shorter than the first one, it's still the tallest among the rest of Star Wars characters.

I did not pose the figure much as I was very lazy during photo shoot :P

Get ready to display Darth Vader Deluxe with the rest of my Star Wars figures.

Lastly, I highly recommend Star Wars fans to get this figure as it also comes with tons of great accessories. You may read my part 1 review here.

Sideshow 1/6 "442nd Siege Battalion" Clone Trooper Pt.2

Basically, the figure has loose joints that are similar to other clone troopers such as Utapau, Imperial Shock Trooper, 501st Legion and 41st Elite Corps. On the other hand, it has great weathering and colour application on its armour. There are also lots of hands for you to swap for different poses. However, it's a good figure to add in my Star Wars collection. The images of the packaging were posted here.

I collected this figure yesterday and you may read my Part 2 review here.

Sideshow 1/6 "R2-D2" Deluxe

I collected this piece yesterday afternoon. Its packaging is big. I have checked the light-up features of R2-D2 and the round table, they work perfectly.

Sideshow "Darth Vader Deluxe" in ROTJ

The packaging is pretty big as it has two plastic trays to hold the figure and accessories.

Lift the box cover, you will see a paper card insert which shows the image of the figure. The top tray holds the Darth Vader figure whereas the second tray holds two light-up display stands with few pairs of gloved hands.

The paint job for the helmet and face plate is good. No defects so far.

Look at the old Anakin Skywalker portrait, the head sculpt has great skin texture with fine details.

The light-up features for the chest and belt control panels work perfectly.

The battery compartment is attached to the belt and it's well hidden on the back of the outfit. You may read my part 2 review here.
