Hot Toys - Marcus Wright Pt.3 (Ter-minator Salvation)

Only two weapons are given with the figure - shotg-u-n and knife. Besides t-shirt, Marcus wears a harness which holds a knife sheath around the chest.

The "blood" paint on the rough and uneven edges of the damaged skin looks okay to me.

As both arms are made of soft rubber material, too much elbow bending may tear the rubber skin.

The shells attached to the shotg-u-n are not removable and they are just for showing off.

The leather pants have working zippers that are actually in 1/6 scale.

So far, the battle damaged head is my favourite accessory here.

See those painted metal pieces under the facial skin, nice right??

There is also a damaged part revealing bloody flesh and metal behind the head.

With this head, I will buy another truetype body to kitbash Marcus with leather jacket.

I like the yellow stripes that printed on the sleeves of the leather jacket. Besides display stand, the other accessories given are four poseable hands and two wrist pegs. You may read my previous posts on Marcus in Part 1 here and Part 2 here.

Hot Toys - Marcus Wright Pt.2 (Ter-minator Salvation)

Although the head sculpt is not perfect, it's still very close to the likeness of Sam Worthington. Hot Toys did a great job on the painting and texturing for the eyebrows, lips and short beard. Thus, making the sculpt looks more realistic.

I like the unique buttons stitched on the long coat.

The leather pieces that cover the boots look nice as well...

The "so-called" gloves that Marcus is wearing are cloth wrapped.

The hanging threads around the bottom of the coat seem pretty "natural" to me.

The coat fits very well to the figure body and Marcus looks cool. You may view the box packaging here.

The Hurt Locker

"The Hurt Locker is an intense portrayal of elite soldiers who have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world - disarming bombs in the heat of combat. When a new sergeant, James takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever (Plot extracted from Golden Village website)."

The following is not my movie review and I just want to express my feeling after watching the film. I felt that why can't we people live in perfect harmony...why can't we stay out of other nation's internal affairs and fix our own problem first. Is "Power" so important nowadays?? Come on...we are facing global financial crisis and disasters happened everywhere. Can't we have better thing to do rather than going on wars??

It is a two hours film. There were many scenes that made my heart beating fast especially when the bomb disposal expert, James were searching for bombs on the street. The film also gives a good description of life on those elite soldiers posted to the middle east. I should say this is a great film and my overall movie rating for this one is 3/5.

Human Alliance Sideswipe and Bumblebee (ROTF)

These are the two Human Alliance figures I have so far and two more to go. They are
HA Skids and HA Mudflap. I will be getting Leader Class Megatron, Voyager Class
Hightower and Scrapper, and Supreme Class Devastator too. These should be the few
figures left to complete my ROTF collection.

Takara Tomy - Human Alliance Sideswipe Pt.2 (ROTF)

For HA Sideswipe, it has a pretty good head sculpt with some symbol on the forehead...

HA Sideswipe has spinning arm blades that made of soft rubber.

As there are not much "panel lines" made on the car body, most of the body parts become "bulky backpack" of the figure.

I have to do minor adjustment to the side panels of the HA Sideswipe's legs in order to have him standing steadily. Thanks to Optibotimus for sharing the information to the leg's adjustment in his video here.

We can put "Sergeant Epps" behind the figure shoulder if we want...

The head can be transformed into a new stage by lifting up the center "chin piece" underneath...

Now, HA Sideswipe is ready to fight with his arm blades and firing power system.

Besides the bulky backpack, I don't like the slim body of the figure. But overall, HA Sideswipe is awesome and I have no regret to have it in my collection. You may view HA Sideswipe in Corvette Stingray Concept Mode here.
