ThreeZero 1/6 "Lin Mae" in The Great Wall Pt.2

Looking at the head sculpt in certain angle, it looks like Jing Tian 景甜 as Lin Mae in The Great Wall (film). But overall likeness is not perfect. The paint work on the sculpt is not what I expect from ThreeZero. I believe it can be better.

The body armor is made of soft plastic. They have lots of details embossed on the surface.

Both sides of the combat boots are lack of details and outer sole of the boots is flat (no grip at all).

I have no doubt about the weathering done by ThreeZero. All weapons and accessories look very realistic.

Really love the design of the sword and sheath. Unfortunately, both items are made of plastic.

There are details sculpted on the back of the armors too. You can remove the armors from the figure if you want.

As Lin Mae is the commander of the crane troop, the drawing of a crane is printed on her cape.

Her cape is made of lightweight fabric which is also soft and thin.

No display stand is required here as the figure has fairly tight joints.

The bending of elbow joints is up to a maximum of 90 degrees. You can rotate her head and move it up and down a little bit.

Due to the limited articulation, you can only get basic poses from this figure.

It's a plus point to ThreeZero if a spear is included with the figure which Lin Mae used it in all battlefields.

Overall, the head sculpt can be executed better and paint work on the sculpt needs improvement. The outfit is movie accurate and fits the figure perfectly. You may see its box package here.

ThreeZero 1/6 "Lin Mae" in The Great Wall

The outfit is good with right amount of weathering but the paint work on its facial sculpt needs improvement. You may read my next review here.

Hot Toys 1/6 "Iron Man Mark II" Sideshow Exclusive Pt.3

Although Hot Toys did not capture the likeness of Robert Downey Jr. very well, I still consider it was a great head sculpt.

The paint application and skin texture of the facial sculpt were considered pretty good at that time.

Similar to Mark III Battle Damaged Ver., the figure comes with Tony's head in the helmet with a removable face plate.

The face plate is a separate piece which you can place it on top of the helmet.

On the other hand, the helmet has magnets which hold the face plate securely in place.

Final photo shoot of the figure with light up feature before I remove batteries from all battery compartments.

Take a closer look at the light up arc reactor in an acrylic display case.

For the pedestal with chest armor, you can place the alternate head on it for display. You may read my part 1 review here and part 2 review here.
