WWE - Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger's first ECW debut was in September 2008. I like this bad guy as he is huge in size and possesses great strength to slam the opponents using his unique “powerbomb” moves. Jack won the ECW championship in early 2009. Unfortunately, Jack lost his ECW title to Christian in less than four months time. However, I still believe Jack has a lot of talent and potential in climbing the top and becoming one of the popular superstars in WWE universe. He is currently in every Monday nights “Raw” (Information Source: Wikipedia).

Hot Toys - "Wolverine" in X-Men Origins Pt.2

Although the facial resemblance of the figure is not close to Hugh Jackman, the facial sculpt is pretty well done. When taking pictures, the sculpt contributes in catching the light and shadow.

After taking "Wolverine" out of the box, I couldn't take my eyes off him as he really looks cool with his adamantium claws.

The boots fit well and look nice when it comes to match with "slim cut" jeans.

The outfit is tailored with excellent stitching. The inner white garment fits the body perfectly. The weathering on the leather jacket is beautifully executed and the zippers are produced to the right scale.

I love the belt buckle as it is detailed made, and works just like a real leather belt.

There is a limitation when posing the arms and over 90 degree of bending in any position may cause the forearms to drop or even damage the elbow articulation. But, not to worry if the forearms dropped as you could assemble the elbow joints back in place easily. The rest of the joint articulation works well.

The paint work on the textured skin, lips, eyes, beard and lines in the face is what makes the head sculpt stand out.

The texturing of sideburn to both sides of the face is nicely sculpted and well differentiated by right amount of colour tone.

The work on the hair is beautifully carried out and it shows a fantastic detail too.

As I was lazy to remove all the garments from the figure, I was not able to show you the hairy muscular body with popping veins.

You have to be extremely cautious when rotating the head as it may damage the skin surface of the front neck. To avoid that, you always need to lift the head in an upward position before doing the rotation. Overall, I am pleased with this figure and highly recommend to get it if you are interested. Heroic - Perfection Killer (con't)

Leon looks cool with his black beanie, sunglasses and long coat which I guess the fabric used is "wool".

Leon with his potted plant and leather weapon case.

The boots are made of soft rubber that more or least help Leon to hold some great poses.

The weapon case is detailed made but the lock doesn't work. The cutter is nicely kept in the leather holder attached to the right thigh.

I like the leather vest Leon is wearing. He carries a few grenades for "Just In Case" purpose and keeps his knife in the sheath attached onto the vest.

Leon uses one of his pistols with silencer for quick assassination.

It's strange that Leon has no holster around his body. So, where does Leon keep his pistol besides the weapon case?

Although the head sculpt is not good, it definitely represents "Jean Reno" in "The Professional". Overall, the outfit is quite screen accurate.

The other accessories come with the figure are black sweater, extra set of hands (skin tone painted similar to the hands of "Enterbay Jack Bauer") and a fresh milk carton. You may click here to see its box packaging as well.

Hot Toys - TTF11 Female Caucasian

This is the first female truetype bodies that Hot Toys produced. To me, I prefer the Caucasian version. The head sculpt is good and I hereby named her as "Madeline". I definitely would put her on display shelf one day :)

Happy New Year 2010!!

Time flies..It's 2010!! Looking back to the day I started this blog, it has been a "tiring"
hobby to me. The reason is I spent a lot of time in reviewing toys and thus, didn't have
much time to rest and to accompany my family. From this year onwards, I would not
update my blog as frequent as I used to be. I also would be getting less toys due to the
increased of financial commitment. But, I still would continue blogging as this is the
place to share my thought and hobby with you guys. Anyway, I wish everyone of you
and your family a Happy New Year and may all your dreams come true :)
