Banpresto "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba 鬼滅の刃" Anime Figures

This time, I collect the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime figures by Banpresto. They are Tanjiro Kamado 竈門 炭治郎, Nezuko Kamado 竈門 禰豆子, Zenitsu Agatsuma 我妻 善逸, Inosuke Hashibira 嘴平 伊之助 and Giyu Tomioka 冨岡 義勇.

As usual, it takes less than a minute to assemble everything here.

Luckily, the face sculpt is clean and quality control of the figure is okay.


The above was the pose which Zenitsu stood and got himself ready to perform his Thunder Breathing First Form technique.


The Demon Slayer Corps "Destroy" symbol which is "滅" was properly printed on the back of the figure.


As for the colour tones applied to the hair sculpt and cloak, they are beautifully executed.

Sega has no issue to capture the resemblance of Zenitsu especially his breathing expression.

Due to the popularity of the character, there are many knockoff figures produced and to be sold on various shopping platforms. So, beware of online shopping for Demon Slayer figures! The box art and design is simple with product image printed on the front.

Obviously, you need to assemble all the parts to complete the figure.

Sega did not replicate Tanjiro's earrings as the original rising sun symbol is offensive in some countries.


Tanjiro wields a black Nichirin Blade which has basic details on the guard and handle.


The colour scheme of the figure and accessories is screen accurate.

The head sculpt is good with Tanjiro's likeness and facial expression.

I believe the wooden box is the best of all in term of texture and paint application. Unfortunately, it cannot be opened.

I don't like the oval stand as it occupies a lot of space on shelf.

No weathering was done for the footwear and thus, they look very bland.

Overall, the QC is bad as there are black marks on the left side of Tanjiro's face. Hence, I did my best to remove the affected surface by pen knife. Next figure reviews are Zenitsu Agatsuma 我妻 善逸 and Inosuke Hashibira 嘴平 伊之助.
