U-toys eXtreme (closed down)

"U-toys eXtreme" was opened at CSC level 2 last month. I guess Dave is the owner of the shop. He may be the business partner of "U-toys" since he uses the similar name for his shop. I like the exterior and interior of the shop and all the merchandize are well organized. The window display is pretty nice and majority of the merchandize is 1/6 scale figures. If you need any helps related to 1/6 scale figures, do drop by and look for Dave. I believe he is able to help you :)

I thought this is the shop expansion of U-Toys so that one section concentrate on TF & anime figure and the other on 12" & action figures. I like the concept and display.

visited last week during a stop over...nice display...prices are ok...i guess?

actfigman - depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for those items that are popular and are released for quite a while, the price is expensive. If you are looking for items that are released recently, the price is reasonable :)

i would recommend serious collectors to avoid U-toys. sold me a opened and used MMS95 John Connor at "License to Play 2011" fair. claimed it was never opened before. i unwrapped and found every factory sealed sticker tampered with, and found the jacket straps at neck falling apart. this most definitely killed any +ve impression of them. glad i bought only 1 item, wanted to buy another too. now i have to spend money to replace the jacket.

Maxel88, I think you should bring the figure back to the shop and clarify. If the figure is not brand new, explain to them and I think they will replace a new one to you. I believe they are reasonable sellers. You should give a try..

update o my john conner. went to u-toys on 30mar and found it closed. dave from u-toys extreme chatted with me. showed him the condition of the john connor jacket. he was courteous and friendly. mentioned u-toys and u-toys extreme are separate entity and my john connor was from stock of u-toys, and could be wrongly packed and sold in error. he helped to change my john connor with another piece. although there is very minute defect (aging) on the new jacket, but i can do with it as i'm not reselling it. good chap. glad to do business with him again.
