My X'mas presents...

The toy cabinets were delivered to my flat yesterday and it took my contractors nearly 7 hours to assemble them.

Originally york colour without light on...

Simply with light on...

With light on as well as switching off ceiling lights in the room...

wow! nice!
looks like there is still a bit of "touch up" work to be done boarding up the gaps on top & the sides of the cabinets?

Awesome cabinets Desmond! How much did all this cost if you dont mind me asking? =]

Thanks Cowboys..this is the most expensive x'mas presents I purchased for myself :)

Thanks Super-Duper, I guess I will take a couple of months to fill up all the space..

Marcus, I don't think it's necessary as they came with 5 cabinets with top and bottom section. They are combined into three and two respectively. This is unavoidable to have lines and gaps in between...

How much is it?

deSMOnd said...

Thanks Wicket, they cost me around SGD 2900. For me, they are still worth it as I always wanted to have cabinets for display when I started my collection..

Sweet... Looks nice. Should document how the cabinets slowly fill up over time, will be awesome.

Adrian..I think I may only able to get the rest of the cartons from U-TOYS in January 2011. Need to find people to help delivering them back to my flat..Then, have to spend some time to clean and display the figures nicely :)

Two huge display shelves to double the happiness. Even your toys will be delighted to move in to their new home. Envious and definitely blissful. Can't wait for your open house. You have a wonderful Christmas with your love ones. Many wines, presents, toys and love. Cheers!

Thanks Jason..both cabinets cost me around S$2900. I have not retrieved the toy cartons back from my friend's shop. Hopefully, can retrieve them next month as I need to ask people to help me do the delivery. Need a medium sized lorry..

J A S O N L U said...

wahhhh, $2900! convert to RM around rm7k-8k @@~~~ btw very nice cabinet. lol, your toys cartoon need a medium lorry to retrieve? =.="

deSMOnd said...

Ya Jason, there are 17 carton boxes in total. A van or a small lorry is not able to store unless you step up the carton boxes. But I don't want to do that as the boxes may be damaged after all. So to be safe, I need a medium sized lorry :)
