Obviously, the difference between the earlier version and Geonosis version is the colour of the outfit. This one is purple colour and the earlier one is blue. I am surprise the colour paint of the helmet remains as blue. When putting his helmet on, the overall appearance looks a "little weird" to me. Anyway, I will pose this figure on shelf. I get what you mean. You are expecting the blue on the helmet to be purplish. I guess those who missed the earlier version won't mind settling with this too! It's pretty nice as long as it's jango Fett.
