As I am not getting the 1/6 scale 1989 Batmobile by Hot Toys, I scored the 1/18 scale Batmobile by Mattel Hot Wheels.
Each rim has a Batman symbol cap and the exhaust side pipes look realistic.
The wing-shaped tail fins, rear lights and jet booster are well produced and screen accurate.
As majority of the body parts are made of metal, the vehicle is heavy.
You can slide to open and close the canopy..Cool!!
Look at the interior of the two-seat cockpit..Amazing!!
The front wheels actually turn when you turn the steering wheel. The vehicle has two machine guns hidden at the side of the fender.
I don't know the purpose of the retractable engine and it's one of the vehicle's features.
This is definitely a great display piece and I highly recommend to all Batman fans. You may read my review on Hot Toys 1989 Batman here and Joker here.

This Batmobile is damn cool and seriously Mattel Hot Wheels top notch toy for collectors. Sleek and sexy contour of the vehicle and well made both exterior and interior. Definitely a nice addition bro! I bet Chrismandesign will drool when he sees this!
