I visited on the first day of the event. Comparing last year, less exhibitors, same old stuff from Marvel, lots of statues, mostly Star Wars and DC toys this year (Next post here).
I sense some disappointment in your post. I do noticed that HT booth had scaled down and that statues belongs to niche market. Nice to see but hard to acquire.

Yes Dennis, disappointed to see figures that had already been showcased in other toy fairs.
