WWE - "Batista" Mattel Heritage Series Pt.1

I like the colours and graphic design that Mattel used for its WWE toy line packaging. On the front, the action figure is placed in a clear PVC plastic tray and backed by a printed card with WWE logo on the top left and picture of the wrestler on the right. The name of the figure “Batista” was printed on the bottom. On the back, it has the same picture of the wrestler with some background text. The package is small and it is easy to store. Overall, the X-shaped blister card packaging looks pretty nice.

The packaging gave it a feel of grand entry. Batista is one strong dude with his Batista bomb. But he kind of shrink a little compared to when he just started.

Dennis, I am not sure Batista was "bigger" when he started his career in WWE. But I know he is currently one of the bad guys in Friday Night Smackdown :)

Are these the latest WWE toylines by Mattel that I see in the dept stores these days? The scuplts have improved tremendously since the ones I saw from many years ago :)

I just acquired a Masters of the Universe Classics (MOTUC) He-Man (Mattel) from CSC, and he reminds me of a wrestler from this new WWE line, but with weatpons and armour :P

Yes Juliana, this is the latest toy lines from Mattel and they did a pretty good job on the head and muscle lines. I heard Mattel really asks sculptors to sculpt the figures' head whereas Jakks Pacific just scans the real person face and transfers images to the computer and let their computers do the production. To me, I just want the figures to look like the real person, I don't care how the companies do it as long as the likeness of the person is there :)
