FOOD, INC.

"How much do we really know about the food we buy at our local supermarkets and serve to our families? In FOOD, INC., Robert Kenner lifts the veil on the food industry, exposing the highly mechanized underbelly that's been hidden from the consumer with the consent of the government. The documentary reveals surprising and often shocking truths about what we eat and how its produced, what the cost to our health is, and how this wave of change is sweeping across the global food industry (Synopsis extracted from Golden Village website)."

After watching the documentary film last Saturday, I will reduce having lunch or dinner in the fast food restaurants. I feel really bad when seeing those big US companies treated the farmers and animals to minimise their costs in order to maximise profits. You may read detailed contents in Wikipedia and visit official website here. My overall rating for this film is 3/5.

I love this type of documentary movie. I often wonder also how about our local supplier had been doing to supply to fast food restaurant too.

Leon, this is a great film. You can go to watch it if you are free. I am sure you will reduce having fast food after watching the film. Really felt sad after seeing those farmers and animals that are being treated badly. I think the food we eat everyday is "toxin" that accumulated in our body. Don't know what will happen one day. That's why people can die (without falling sick) when they are sleeping.
