"Avatar is the story of an ex-Marine who finds himself thrust into hostilities on an alien planet filled with exotic life forms. As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds, in a desperate fight for his own survival and that of the indigenous people. More than ten years in the making, Avatar marks Cameron's return to feature directing since helming 1997's Titanic. WETA Digital, renowned for its work in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and King Kong, will incorporate new intuitive CGI technologies to transform the environments and characters into photorealistic 3D imagery that will transport the audience into the alien world rich with imaginative vistas, creatures and characters (Movie Details: Golden Village website)."
Avatar is a sci-fi, adventure and action packed movie. I enjoyed watching the movie even though the story line was predictable. The land forest was beautifully created in a sense that audience could feel they were in the world of Pandora that filled with creative imagination. The visual effects were superb and fantastic graphics kept my attention all the time. The human warships reminded me of those in the "Aliens" and the virtual creatures were simply amazing. Of coarse, the final battle scenes between the human and Navi were breathtaking. There are too many credits to give for this film and I am sure this is one of the best films I have ever seen this year. It's a MUST watch movie and truly another visual masterpiece from James Cameron (Overall rating for this film is 4/5).
