Hong Kong Trip - Day 5 on 3 May

After having a deep-fried dough (yau char qwai) with soya bean for breakfast, headed towards Tung Chung MTR station for Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Ride.

Definitely took the new "Crystal Cabin" to Ngong Ping Village. Along the way, we can see Hong Kong International Airport at our right.

See the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, gigantic right? Reaching Ngong Ping Terminal (above right).

What a GIANT BUDDHA!! Had some shopping at the village and took cable car back to Tung Chung Terminal.

"Crystal Cabin" here means the cabin equipped with a glass bottom which allows us to view scenery underneath our feet. Then, took an Antipastic Triangle with orange juice for tea break at Pacific Coffee, Citygate.

Went to Hong Kong Disneyland for a walk. A lot of tourists there too.

As the entrance fee to Disneyland is a bit expensive to me, just took few photos at outside compound and headed towards Temple Street again.

I love the "Spicy Crabs with Minced Garlic and Dried Chillies" and "Roasted Pigeon" there. It's sad that I forgot to order a plate of "Roasted Goose".

After dinner, went to a dessert house for supper near my hotel.

See the "Fruit-Based Desserts" and "Crispy Wrapped Mango", drool right??

desmond, really enjoying your pics. Some of them brings back good memories like the Buddha one, I remember staying at a cottage around there. Love it!

You took the train to Disneyland and you never enter it? It quite fun actually.

Yes I know. But I am planning to go Disneyland in Japan or US in the near future. So, skip the HK one.
